How To Apply PressMe! (Press-on nails)?

  • How to use:

Step 1 Match-Before applying, find the suitable size for each nail.

Step 2 Prep-Wash hands and dry thoroughly. Use wooden stick to push back cuticles. Nail file to smooth and buff nails. Prep pad to clean nails for better adhesion.

Step 3 Apply-When using adhesive tabs, match adhesive tab size with nail. Apply adhesive tab to natural nail then properly line up the artificial nail. Press down and hold for at least 30 seconds.

When using nail glue, apply an even layer of glue to natural nail and artificial nail. Press and hold for at least 30 seconds.

*Tips for longer wear: Press nails down several times and avoid contact with water for the first hour.

How Long Does PressMe! Stay On?

When apply with adhesive tabs: Wear from 3-7 days with the correct prep. 24 Adhesive tabs are included in PressMe! nail set, you can also purchase extra adhesive tabs from our website.

When apply with nail glue: Wear from 1-3 weeks with the correct prep. Nail glue is included in PressMe! nail set, you can also purchase extra nail glue from our website.

Note that these estimates can vary depending on the lifestyle of the wearer, the natural oiliness of their nails and applying techniques.

Meaning if someone is constantly in contact with water, uses a lot of cosmetics with oils, that can affect the longevity of PressMe! wear.

How To Remove PressMe! (Press-on Nails)?

  • For adhesive tab application:

Soak in warm water for 10-15 minutes and gently remove with wooden stick. Or apply a few drops of nail polish remover around the cuticle line, wait 1-5 minute then gently remove with wooden stick.

  • For glue application:

Method 1 - Fill a bowl with warm to hot water (that you can tolerate) and two pumps of dish soap. You can also add a spoonful of cooking oil to help speed up the process.

Soak your nails in the water with soap and oil mixture for 10-15 minutes. The soap and oil will break down the nail glue and most of the nails should start to pop off as you soak. If not, repeat the process until all of the press-on nails are off. 

You can also use an wooden stick to lift the press-on nails once they’ve soaked but never force it. If removal ever hurts, stop and go back to soaking your nails. Once you start pulling or forcefully removing the press-ons, it’s entirely too easy to damage your nail beds.

Method 2 - Apply baqué Glue Remover For Press-On Nails (coming soon) between the artificial nail and natural nail and wait 1 minute. Once the artificial nail is loose, gently remove using wooden stick. 

PressMe! Size and Length

PressMe! set consists of 12 nail sizes in total of 24 pieces (30 pieces for Semi-hand made styles). You can select the size that fits each nail. We recommend using medium length or long length for those with longer nail beds.

*Tips: You can adjust PressMe! nail tips by using the nail file provided in the set, to shape and shorten PressMe! nails to your desire.

Are PressMe! Reusable?

Yes, our PressMe! sets can be reused multiple times when applying with adhesive tabs.

After removing them from your nails, simply rub off remaining adhesive tabs from PressMe! nail bed. The adhesive are residue free so you can rub off easily from both your natural nails and PressMe! nails. Then sanitise used PressMe! nails and store them properly.

If applied with nail glue, we only recommend to reuse them 1-2 times. Simply buff off remaining glue on your nail beds and re-apply PressMe! with nail glue.

Can I change my shipping address?

If your order has not been shipped, we will be able to change it for you.

If your order has been shipped, we will do our best to work with you and the courier to have it redirect to the correct address.

What if I receive an faulty or incorrect item?

Every baqué set is checked a number of times through our quality control process, however, if something has been overlooked we want to hear about it and make things right. 

If you believe you have received a defective product please email orders@thebaque.com within 48 hours of receiving your order with a clear photo of the defect and your order number. 

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, we offer free standard shipping domestically across Australia for all orders over $99 AUD.

And free express shipping in Australia for all orders over $130AUD.

How much does shipping cost?

 

Return and Refund

Our return policy

We have a 14-day return policy.

For change of mind returns, we offer store credit only and customer is responsible for return shipping fee.

To be eligible for return, item must be in it's original, unopened, and unaltered condition, with all original packaging intact. Please ensure that the item is returned in its original condition.

Please note that we do not refund the original shipping costs unless the item you received was damaged, defective, or incorrect.

If the product is faulty or incorrect, please provide details of the faulty/incorrect item you received, such as photos and videos. And we are happy to organise a free returns for you.

To start a return, you can contact us at orders@thebaque.com.

You will be asked to provide some photos of your item prior to sending it back to us so we can assess the condition. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Can I exchange my order for a different product?

Within 14 days of order date, you can return your order to us for an exchange. Exchange item must be unused, unopened and in original resell-able condition.

Do I need to pay for return or exchange shipping fee?

If the product is faulty or incorrect, we are happy to organise a free return label for you to return/exchange the item. Otherwise for change of mind return/exchange, customer is responsible for shipping fee.

How long does it take for my return/exchange to be processed?

Once we receive your return/exchange order at our warehouse, we will process it within 7 business days.

How long does it take for my refund to be processed?

You will receive an email once it has been handled on our end. From there, depending on your bank, it will take 2–5 business days to process into your account. If it takes longer than 5 business days, we advise getting in touch with your bank or credit card company.
